The recent incident off Nantucket should serve as a wake-up call to New Jersey and other states pursuing ocean wind-powered turbine farms. At Vineyard Wind near Nantucket, the blade of a massive turbine fell off, dropping most of its 351-foot combination of fiberglass and foam into the sea.
