A motorist has been given a suspended prison sentence for driving carelessly and injuring someone… all while flouting his latest driving ban. In 2021 the Newbury Weekly News reported how Darren Derwin had been caught flouting a driving ban for the eighth time. A district judge said at the time Mr Derwin “probably doesn’t know what a driving licence is”.
