A MAN who had denied an assault charge has changed his plea. Christopher Flynn appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 10. The 53-year-old, of Wilson Close, Compton, had pleaded not guilty at a previous hearing to assaulting Jason Forward by beating him in Newbury on January 4 last year. But he changed his plea to guilty at Wednesday’s hearing. Mr Flynn, who was legally represented at the hearing by Robert Jacques, also has a previous conviction for domestic violence.
