Town twinning association members were joined by Sawbridgeworth Mayor Reece Smith in singing La Marseillaise to mark Bastille Day at a summer bring-and-share garden party on Sunday (July 14). Hosts Helen and Paul Avontuur welcomed 40 members and guests including Cllr Smith and his family, to the event and the Rib Singers entertained everyone throughout the afternoon – leading people in singing the French national anthem.
