Everton, under Farhad Moshiri’s rule, have undoubtedly regressed from where they once were. After all, whilst it was a largely unspectacular regime, David Moyes kept the club stable for over a decade, threatening for trophies on occasion and even leading them into Europe too. On a shoestring budget, this has to be admired, especially when compared to the plethora of managerial errors that would follow him.
