China’s domestic tourism during the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year holidays has exceeded the level of 2019, the year before the coronavirus pandemic, by millions of trips. Statisticians recorded around 474 million domestic trips during the holiday week between February 10 and 18, an increase of 34% compared to 2023, the Ministry of Tourism announced in Beijing on Sunday.
