Swedish home appliance giant Electrolux reported a second-quarter loss of 80 million Swedish kronor ($7.5 million) on Friday, far narrower than last year’s 648 million kronor loss. Loss per share was 0.30 krona, compared to the prior year’s loss of 2.40 kronor. Operating income amounted to 419 million kronor, far higher than the 124 million kronor recorded last year.
