More than 100,000 Lufthansa passengers face delays and disrupted flights this week after German services union Verdi called its ground staff out on a 27-hour strike starting on Tuesday. Lufthansa said on Sunday that it was working on an emergency schedule. Airports in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne-Bonn and Stuttgart will be hit.
