Struggling German rail operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) vowed to improve on Wednesday, setting out plans for the firm to become more profitable and for its trains to be more punctual by 2027. State-owned DB’s supervisory board met on Wednesday to discuss how to solve the problems it faces. The railway’s management board presented a restructuring programme to the supervisory board.
