Convicted murderer Scott Peterson has had his case picked up by The Los Angeles Innocence Project, ABC News reported. Peterson was convicted in 2004 of the murder of his pregnant wife Laci Peterson. He was originally given the death penalty, but that sentenced was overturned and he was subsequently sentenced to life in prison.
