Motorists and bus users have been told to expect “short-term frustration” while “much-needed works” take place to improve a busy road junction. During the closure of a section of Main Road, Hoo, buses will not serve the road for two weeks. Instead, services will be diverted via the A228, and Bells Lane, around the Knights Road loop and down to Hoo Marina.
