Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has said his team failed to take their chances, as they opened the new Premier League season with a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City. The champions won at Stamford Bridge, thanks to goals from Erling Haaland and Mateo Kovacic. Although the Blues had chances at 1-0 to score, they failed to find the back of the net until Kovacic killed the game off.
