The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday said it fired on a military post belonging to the Syrian army in response to rockets fired from the neighbouring country. The Syrian launches “fell in open areas,” the IDF said. There had previously been a missile alert at the border. It was initially unclear which group was responsible for the launch from Syria.
