A block of flats was cordoned off by police after a man was allegedly attacked outside. Officers and paramedics were called to Miller Heights, in Maidstone, at around 9.40am yesterday (August 18). The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his face. Robert Fletcher, of The Broadway, Maidstone, was arrested and has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possessing cocaine. The 40-year-old is remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (August 19).
