German police and prosecutors searched more than 40 houses on Tuesday in connection with fan violence around a Bundesliga match between Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart in November. The Frankfurt prosecution office said in a statement the searches in the state of Hesse were on suspicion of particularly serious breach of the peace, assault on law enforcement officers and dangerous bodily harm, among other things.
