Germany’s referee chief Knut Kircher is open to introduce a Video Support system which is only activated upon challenges from coaches. The system, tested by the world governing body FIFA at the recent women’s under-20 World Cup and also to be used in Italy’s third division, would see referees check disputed incidents via a pitchside monitor.
