A tunnel at the Dartford Crossing is closed for “essential maintenance”, causing two-and-a-half-mile queues. The west tunnel is currently shut along with two lanes on the anticlockwise M25, from Junction 1A for the A206 in Dartford to Junction 31 for Lakeside. Traffic is backing up to Junction 2 adding an extra 30 minutes on to journeys.
