The German electrical and digital industry increased its exports in January for the first time in six months. Exports grew by 0.3% compared to the same month last year to €20.8 billion ($22.6 billion), as the industry association ZVEI announced in Frankfurt on Tuesday. “The most recent increase was primarily driven by a recovery in business with China, which increased by more than a fifth compared to the previous year,” said ZVEI Chief Economist Andreas Gontermann.
