An Iowa man was sentenced Thursday in federal court to nearly eight years in prison for the armed robbery of a bank in Secaucus in January 2017, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced. Jose Luis Martinez, 33, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John M. Vazquez to a two-count indictment charging him with armed bank robbery and brandishing a firearm during a bank robbery. Martinez was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William J.
