Ukrainian organizations affected by this problem have already fully or partially resumed their work.
Airport disruptions around the world
Today, there is chaos at airports across the globe due to a global outage.
Yes, it is:
- Turkish Airlines has warned of a global disruption that has caused serious problems with ticketing and check-in.
- Edinburgh Airport has warned passengers of a possible increase in waiting time due to a failure in the IT system.
- Irish airline Ryanair warned customers about possible disruptions.
- Indian airline SpiceJet reported technical problems affecting online services, including booking and check-in.
- At Sydney airport in Australia, passengers cannot check in for flights, people cannot get their luggage, and Virgin Australia has suspended flights.
- There are disruptions at Amsterdam Airport.
What to do
The experts of the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine recommend using CrowdStrike’s instructions to quickly solve this problem:
- Boot Windows in Safe Mode or Windows Recovery.
- Go to the directory C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike
- Find the file named “C-00000291*.sys” and delete it.
- Restart your computer or server.
Experts recommend using this method while CrowdStrike is working on fixing the problem and will not provide official information.
