Israel’s military said it has opened an investigation following the deaths of two Palestinians detained in the Gaza Strip. This was confirmed by the army on Thursday evening in response to an enquiry. Israeli media reported that the two Palestinians had been detained around a month ago in the area of the southern coastal city of Khan Younis on suspicion of terrorism and were to be taken to Israel.
