Brazil and the Amazon rainforest are key to efforts to combat global warming, German Economic Cooperation and Development Minister Svenja Schulze said in Berlin on Thursday. “Without Brazil, the world cannot be successful in safeguarding the climate,” Schulze said ahead of a trip to the South American country.
