A pub which closed following its co-owner’s death is now on the market for £950,000. The Chequers Inn, Aylesford shut immediately in February after the owner, David House, died following a battle with cancer. Three of his other pubs also closed, including The Hengist, Aylesford, The Amehurst Inn, Seal, and the Walnut Tree, Yalding.
