By Graeme Murray A creepy new jellyfish species with an unusual red cross has been discovered by scientists – and it’s so rare it’s only ever been seen twice. Experts say it is 10cm in diameter with a red belly, similar to the Cross of St George when spotted above. Called the Santjordia pagesi, it is a new species of medusa, which are an umbrella-shaped jellyfish species with a reduced stalk.
