(The Center Square) – A recent report on King County’s homeless supportive housing initiative reveals that the county spends an average of nearly $300,000 in sales tax per housing unit. King County’s Health Through Housing Initiative receives one-tenth of a cent of sales tax revenue for the purchase and operation of hotels to convert into emergency and permanent supportive housing.
