A packing worker made a costly mistake when he left work without emptying his pockets and still carrying a lock knife. Algimantas Matacuinas, 57, of Shiregreen, Lynn, appeared before magistrates at Lynn on Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to possession of a knife in a public place, and to drink driving, both on the A149 at Lynn on April 19. Nicola Lamb, prosecuting, said Matacuinas had been driving his Toyota Aygo when he crashed into the vehicle in front.
