Plans to build a new solar farm will be available to view next week. RWE Renewables is holding a drop-in session allowing residents to learn more about the proposals for the renewable energy scheme over two sites. One would be in Pamber Green, the other north of Sherborne St John, both in North Hampshire. The company says the Aldermaston Road project will have the potential to power 16,000 homes, while offsetting 1.1 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
