The deadly encounter took place around 2 a.m. EET when the officers pulled over a dark-colored car in the Haisyn district for a routine traffic check. The occupants of the vehicle responded by opening fire on the officers. Videos of the car they allegedly used have been circulating on social media. They are currently wanted by the authorities.
