An Aldermaston man has been fined more than £1,400 by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council after failing to comply with a fly-tipping investigation. Douglas McAllister of Mallard Way, Aldermaston, was found guilty in his absence after failing to attend Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on January 9. The prosecution, which was brought by the council, came after Mr McAllister did not attend interviews regarding waste which was found dumped in Frost Lane in Overton in July 2022.
