Newcastle United have not been lucky with injuries this season. While blaming them and the fatigue that results from relying on so few players might be too lazy an explanation as to some of Newcastle’s struggles this season, the crisis cannot be ignored. Indeed, Eddie Howe has already admitted to making mistakes when it comes to dealing with injured players. Clearly, conversations will need to be had at the end of the season. Such has been the extent of the crisis this season, the sheer number of injuries Howe has had to contend with surely cannot just be down to something as abstract as luck….
