In his effort to prove to the U.S. Supreme Court that presidents should be immune from criminal prosecution, Donald Trump on Tuesday touted that he had “voluminous information” that the 2020 presidential election was “tainted by extensive fraud and irregularities.” But the claim that the former president had ample proof that his reelection was being usurped in favor of Democratic nominee Joe Biden doesn’t square with former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann.
