International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach will wait until after this summer’s Paris Olympics with an announcement whether he wants to run again in 2025 for the top job. IOC spokesman Mark Adams said around executive board meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday that this decision was based on an according recommendation by the IOC ethics commission and unanimously approved by the EB. “It is clear that the time of such a decision bears a high risk to overshadow the course of the Olympic Games as well as the election campaign itself,” the ethics committee recommendation said, quoted by Adams. …
