Just Stop Oil have today targeted one of Britain’s most iconic monuments as orange paint was sprayed upon Stonehenge. The act of vandalism comes just one day before the Summer Solstice during which the monument was built to align. In dramatic images from the Unesco World Heritage site in Wiltshire, orange powder paint was launched at the stones in what the protest group calls “megalithic action” to demand the UK to drop fossil fuels in a matter of years.
