A bear attacked a 63-year-old man herding sheep in a pasture in the southern Carpathian Mountains of Romania and bit him in the leg, the digi24.ro news portal reported late on Friday. The shepherd was tending to his animals when the bear suddenly appeared and behaved aggressively, the news portal wrote, citing rescue workers and eyewitnesses.
