Big-hearted barber Manjeet Virdee has raised £1,747 for Cancer Research UK with a 24-hour shift at his Ace of Fades shop in Bishop’s Stortford. He began cutting hair and trimming beards at 9am on Saturday, June 15 and completed his marathon in South Street at 9am on Sunday. He said: “I stayed awake the whole time!
