The first ever Classic Car Show to be held in Ridgewell proved to be a big success, with one driver even making a near 300 mile round trip in a 50-year old car to attend. Sunday’s show on the playing fields next to the village hall featured two motorbikes and 48 cars and trucks – the latter being Second World War vehicles. The range of vehicle ages went from 1923 to a modern classic, a Honda EV Civic. and featured a Riley ‘Frog-eye’ Sprite and numerous Porsches and TR7s.
