Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched a communications satellite into orbit around the earth, state radio reported. An IRGC rocket took the satellite, named Soraya, into orbit 750 kilometres above the earth’s surface under commission from the Information Ministry, according to the report.
