A man remains in hospital following an incident at the weekend which saw train services suspended. As reported, replacement buses were brought in after the line between Sittingbourne and Sheppey was closed. A British Transport Police spokesman said this lunchtime: “Officers were called to the line near Queenborough railway station at around 8.56am on Saturday following reports of a casualty on the tracks. “Paramedics also attended, and a person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
