Veteran Luka Modric leads Croatia’s provisional Euro 2024 squad in what is expected to be the last major event for the Real Madrid midielder. Modric, 38, was on Monday named by coach Zlatko Dalic into the 26-player squad and set to play his ninth major tournament at the June 14-July 14 Euros in Germany since debuting on the big stage at the 2006 World Cup which was also played in Germany.
