Work to reinstate an earthquake-ravaged New Zealand church has been called off after funding ran dry, almost 14 years after the building was left in ruins. The reinstatement of the Christ Church Cathedral in central Christchurch would now be paused, the Anglican Diocese said on Tuesday.
