Iran confirmed the deaths of several members of the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in airstrikes in Damascus, Iranian state radio reported on Saturday. The broadcaster’s Arabic section reported that two high-ranking advisers were among the dead. State television blamed Israel for the attack.
