Railway stations across the region are set to receive a new free Wi-Fi service. East Midlands Railways is to install the new free Wi-Fi at 97 of the stations it serves – benefiting its Intercity, Regional and Connect customers. The Wi-Fi upgrade will be child friendly and help to filter out illegal or harmful content, to help protect children and families, as well as allowing quick and easy access to the internet from mobiles, tablets and laptops.
