SEATTLE — This road trip turned out to end a lot better than it began for the Red Wings. Ben Chiarot scored at 1 minute, 6 seconds of overtime, after the Wings had just killed a penalty, giving the Wings a 4-3 overtime victory over Seattle. The victory enabled the Wings to earn a split (2-2-0) of the four-game western Canada and Seattle road trip.
