German rail operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) made a new wage offer to the train drivers’ union GDL on Friday in a bid to prevent further strikes in the coming weeks. The company is now offering the union a further choice of working hours for train drivers and train attendants. The GDL initially said it would examine the offer on Friday.
