A Boeing 747 cargo plane belonging to Atlas Air had an engine malfunction shortly after takeoff, forcing it to make an emergency landing, according to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) report. According to the agency’s early investigation report, a “softball-size hole” was found above the No.2 engine. The FAA said it would investigate further.
