Plucky Pete Beatty’s courageous bid to row the Atlantic had many in oar of his efforts – and earlier this month gym users put their backs into a rowathon in aid of his chosen charities. The Pete Beatty Atlantic Rowathon took place at Koru Gym, Peek Business Centre, Woodside Park, Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday and Sunday February 10 and 11 and saw participants paying £10 for an hour’s work-out on the rowing machine.
