The first caution of the day came out during Stage 1 at IRP, Ty Majeski then jumped the restart battling with Grant Enfinger. The NASCAR officials hit him with a pass-through penalty. Ty Majeski won this race at Indianapolis Raceway Park a year ago. He will have a hard time defending that victory now. While he didn’t completely lose a lap during the pass-through, he barely came out in front of the leaders. This penalty has allowed Christian Eckes to now take the lead over Enfinger.
