After a long delay, Hungary’s parliament is expected to ratify Sweden’s accession to NATO next Monday. The leader of the ruling Fidesz party, Máté Kocsis, requested the speaker of parliament put the issue on the agenda for the plenary session on February 26. Kocsis posted a copy of the request on his Facebook page on Tuesday. Committees in parliament have already approved the ratification. Now all that is missing is the assent of the full assembly.
