A new forecast for the German economy from the Macroeconomic Policy Institute (IMK) predicts continued trouble in 2024, with economic output shrinking by 0.3%. The forecast, released on Wednesday, expected Germany’s gross domestic product (GDP) to rebound very slightly in 2025, with modest growth of 0.8%.
