The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is cleaning up its fleet of emergency vehicles. Since February, it has been piloting an NHS England-approved anti-idling system. ACETECH™ Eco-Run can turn off engines when safe to do so. By reducing idling, fleets can cut fuel use and reduce emissions. A test vehicle fitted with the technology has been operating around Hertfordshire since February.
